Black Cat Networks, Jonathan McDowell - Technical Director
Ever since we received our production IPv6 allocation from RIPE at the start of 2004 we decided that we would work to IPv6 enable our entire network. As a relatively young network we always had IPv6 support at the back of our minds so that we would be able to provide both our colocation/hosting customers and access (dialup/ADSL customers) fully native IPv6 connectivity as standard. Tinet was already providing us with IPv4 connectivity. We were impressed with the quality of service we were getting so we approached them about IPv6 transit. Instead of the usual blank looks other providers gave us when asked the same question, Tinet was quickly able to add IPv6 to our existing setup. On the few occasions we have had to contact Tinet about IPv6 issues they have treated them seriously, rather than as some sort of minor issue. We have had no hesitation in recommending them to others who are looking for a provider who actually gets IPv6.
